Does anyone know of a good place on the internet that that helps you with finding the essential things (furniture, appliances, accesories) to have in every room of a house or apartment?

I am a freshman in college and I have much money, but I am hunting for a roommate and an apartment. I really want to start getting an idea for the cost of everything that I may need. Where should I start looking for affordable furniture and linens for my bedroom?
