I really love ikea’s style and prices. I want to redo my house (furnishings, etc…) on a budget and am considering buying from ikea.

I am interested in things like bed frames (not mattresses), a couch, dining table, rugs, lamps, etc…

How do you like your items from Ikea? Do they hold up well? Are they of good quality?

It’s a one bedroom. I have a TV, pots n pans, kitchen table, and living room table & end tables.

I’ll have to buy almost EVERYthing else. I can buy stuff like Value City or Ashley furniture. How much will it cost for a bed set, sheets, couch, lamps, towels, trash cans, etc….

How about hook up fees for phones and gas, etc?

I create hand painted objects with different mediums. I need a wood worker who would be able to fabricate different shaped objects( trays,bowls, lamps,small benches..etc.) for an affordable price. I would prefer him to live in Brooklyn, NY or New York city.
I would also appreciate any advice about creating these wood objects myself ( Tools, wood origins etc..)

Something like urbanoutfitters.com; they have furnishing equipments such as lamps, curtains, chairs, etc… So I was wondering if you now any. The more websites you give me, the merrier
