we need living room set, dining set dressers for 2 bedrooms, decorations, tv, entertainment center curtins……

ok, i’m moving into a fully furnished place. the living room has dark blue carpet and dark blue leather couches and wood tables & entertainment center. the current curtains are absolutely hideous, and i want to use another color to break up the blue monotany. any ideas?

I’m moving out of my dad’s home soon and was curious as to how much (average/estimate/guesstimate) it costs to furnish a brand new apartment if all I have is the clothes on my back?? 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen… I just want to have any idea of how much money I should have saved up… someone told me recently, whatever I’m planning to save, save double… please help!

I just bought my first home and am furnishing it. I want to put oyster-colored couches in my living room, but a lot of people are advising against it. I am single and in my mid-twenties, and I will have two girls my age as roommates. No pets and no kids in the house, but a lot of company. Is microfiber with a stain repellent really a bad idea? I don’t want them to look like junk after a few months.

Our house is, Downstairs: kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, living room, family room, foyer, half bath
Upstairs: master bed and bath upstairs with one other bedroom for an office for filing, computer, bills, etc.

Need EVERYTHING (curtains, chandeliers, wall art, furniture, lamps)

except already have one sofa set in the family room with lamps, and have a kitchen table and chairs, and a computer with printer and kitchen gear.
