I’ve just rented a really scruffy flat which could have the potential to be quite nice. It’s a furnished flat, so I can’t get a new sofa etc. but what I want to do is get lots of stuff to change the look of the place, ie. throws, curtains, cushions, pictures etc. In the lounge the carpet is blue and the walls are cream, what colour accessories should i get? What will go with dark blue carpets apart from blue? Any other cheap-ish accessories I should get to brighten the place up? Thank you!
i have the whole furnished part of the basement as my room. its like a studio apartment minus a bathroom and a kitchen. what can i do that isn’t expensive to get the most use out of this room. its seperated into roughly three parts. right now ones my room. ones where my computer is, and one just has a sofa in it. and it has to be plenty cost effective cuz my mom is a tightwad at times.
Our house is, Downstairs: kitchen, breakfast room, dining room, living room, family room, foyer, half bath
Upstairs: master bed and bath upstairs with one other bedroom for an office for filing, computer, bills, etc.
Need EVERYTHING (curtains, chandeliers, wall art, furniture, lamps)
except already have one sofa set in the family room with lamps, and have a kitchen table and chairs, and a computer with printer and kitchen gear.
I rented an apartment with a checkered floor (black and white) L shaped open living area. this is opened to the kitchen which is semi dark brown wood. i need help wih decoration, what colors, sofa shape, seatings..etc. any help???
i am into modern with a touch of classic and i want it to feel stylish, comfortable, spacious and inviting. the TV (plasma) will be the focal point of the room.
